Qualification And Registration

Within the UK individuals must be listed on the National Register of Hearing Aid Dispensers before being allowed to dispense Hearing Aids.

To gain entry to the register an individual must have gained A Foundation Degree in Hearing Aid Audiology through an approved University supported by an employer in the industry.

The Foundation Degree is a 2 year qualification which involves block release at University and additional ‘in company’ training. Upon passing the Foundation Degree Course and  successful assessment of job related competence an individual can be accepted onto the national register.

Hidden Hearing supports foundation degree students through full time employment and full sponsorship to gain registration. We work in partnership with:
